Policies

  • Confidentiality Policy

The protection and confidentiality of personal data are paramount to our organization. We strictly adhere to data privacy laws and ethical standards, ensuring that personal information entrusted to us is never disclosed, sold, or displayed without consent.

    Permissions Policy

For promotional purposes, photographs may be taken during select classes for use on our social media platforms and website. We are committed to respecting your privacy and will seek explicit consent prior to capturing and using images of your work or person. If you prefer to opt-out, kindly indicate your choice on the provided enrollment form. We assure you that declining to participate in promotional imagery will be met without any objection. Additionally, the sharing of any personal data with fellow students will only occur with your express written consent.

  • Privacy Policy

We require all new students to fill out a New Student Information Form as a mandatory step of the enrollment process. This form collects personal details which are utilized solely for the purposes of admission, communication, and emergency response.

Personal information is defined by our institution as any data that includes, but is not limited to, an individual’s name, address, date of birth, email address, phone number, emergency contact details, financial documentation, credit information, medical history, curriculum vitae, travel documentation, and any records pertaining to the procurement of goods and services.

Our institution upholds a strict non-discrimination policy. We guarantee that no personal information will be used to discriminate against individuals on the basis of disability, gender, race, color, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin, or religious beliefs.

  • Adults aged 18 and above are welcome to register or enroll for any class, workshop, or event. Minors aged 16 and up may also enroll, provided they are accompanied by a guardian. However, for life drawing classes featuring partial and/or nude models, participants must be over the age of 18.

  • Makeup Sessions: B. Marie’s Atelier and its instructors are not required to offer makeup sessions for classes missed due to absence or failure to attend.

Distribution of Materials: Enrolled students who have paid tuition and must miss a session are encouraged to contact their instructor to obtain any available handouts or notes from the missed session. However, for students who have not completed tuition payment, the Atelier is not obligated to supply these materials or information from the course.

  • In the event of an emergency or unforeseen circumstance, we reserve the authority to appoint a substitute instructor, or adjust the scheduled time. Participants will be informed promptly of any changes to the planned instructor or class schedule.

Should an instructor be unavailable due to illness or other emergency situations and a substitute cannot be arranged, the affected class will be canceled. A makeup session will be organized to complete the course, and all relevant details will be communicated to the participants at the earliest convenience.

  • Our institution is committed to fostering a respectful and supportive atmosphere. Any form of poor conduct is inadmissible and will not be tolerated. We retain the right to remove any individual from our classes, workshops, or events for misconduct, disrespect, or disruptive behavior. In such cases, the individual will not be entitled to a refund.

For the safety and security of all, the possession of firearms or weapons, whether concealed or unconcealed, is strictly forbidden at our location and events without exception. Additionally, the use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited at any of our venues or events.

    Alcohol and Smoking Regulations

Alcoholic beverages are not allowed at our location or events. In compliance with Arizona State Law, smoking or vaping is prohibited within public buildings and within 20 feet of any building entrance. This policy extends to a complete prohibition on smoking and vaping inside our facility.

Terms of Service

  • Tuition: Tuition refers to the cost associated with enrollment in classes, workshops, or events provided by B. Marie’s. This cost is subject to variation based on the number of sessions included in the offering.

Additional Fees: Certain courses may require additional fees to cover expenses such as consumable materials, live model fees, or entry charges for off-site events. While some consumable materials may be covered by the tuition, any extra charges will be clearly itemized on the respective registration forms for each class, workshop, or event.

Please consult the details of individual courses for precise tuition and fee information.

  • Registration: By completing the registration process ("Enrollment"), you are securing a spot in the desired class, workshop, or event offered by B. Marie’s Atelier.

Payment Deadline: Full payment must be received at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the class to confirm your enrollment. Availability permitting, last-minute registrations may be accepted. Should a class reach capacity, a waitlist will be established, and you will be notified via email should a spot become available. Given the limited size of our classes, prompt registration is recommended to secure your place.

Payment Process: To make a payment, visit the classes page on our website, select the class you wish to enroll in, and proceed to add it to your cart. If multiple dates or times are available, you will have the opportunity to make your selection during this process. A confirmation email will be sent following the completion of payment, serving as proof of your enrollment. Should you not receive this confirmation within 24 hours, please check your spam folder or contact us for assistance.

  • No Full Refunds Post-Commencement: Once the first session of a class has taken place, the full tuition becomes non-refundable should you choose to withdraw for any reason. Additionally, no refunds are granted if a cancellation occurs within three (3) days or 72 hours prior to the start of the first session.

Cancellation Policy: For cancellations made before the three-day deadline, a refund of 50% of the tuition will be provided. To initiate a cancellation, please contact us via email. Refunds are processed within seven (7) business days.

No Partial Refunds for Absences: We do not offer partial refunds for no-shows, missed sessions, or absences, regardless of the cause, including illness.

Full Refunds for Cancellations by the Atelier: In the event of a cancellation by the Atelier due to insufficient enrollment, unforeseen circumstances, natural disasters, pandemics, or emergencies, registrants are entitled to a full refund. Alternatively, registrants may opt to transfer their enrollment to a concurrent or future class without any penalties.
